One of the lesser known features of RL Garage is the Tournament schedule and reminders. It launched in our December 2021 update, alongside the Car Designer.

The Tournament reminders will send out notifications to your phone when an in-game Tournament is about to start. You choose what Tournaments you’re interested in, what region you’re in, and what time frames works for you. RL Garage will notify you 15 minutes before the Tournament starts, so you can prepare your game and join the Tournament before entry closes.

Using Tournament reminders is a great way to get more Tournament Credits, as you’ll never forget when to play.

To set a one-time reminder for a Tournament, go to the Tournaments page and find the Tournament you’re interested in joining, then press the ‘Remind me’ button.

Once you have set a one-time reminder, you will receive a notification 15 minutes before the Tournament starts. This should leave you with enough time to start up Rocket League and join the Tournament.

If you’re a Premium member, you can set recurring reminders, so you never miss another Tournament. Recurring reminders can be configured to only send in a specific time frame or for certain game modes and team sizes. Recurring reminders can only be set from the website.

To configure a recurring reminder, press the ‘Recurring Reminders’ button below the Region dropdown menu in the top-right corner.

A popup will show with a form where you can select your desired criteria for the recurring reminder. For example, if you wish to only be reminded of standard 3v3 Tournaments between 5pm and 11pm, you can do just that.

If you want to receive reminders for all types of Tournaments in your region, you can choose ‘Any’ for team size and game mode, and you will be notified for every Tournament within your time frame.

When you’re happy with your selection, press the ‘Add Recurring Reminder’ button to save your recurring reminder.

To delete a one-time reminder, simply click on the ‘Remind’ button again, and it will remove the reminder.

To delete a recurring reminder, open the recurring reminders popup and find the recurring reminder you wish to remove below the form. Then press the ‘Delete’ button on the far right of the recurring reminder.

The recurring reminder will be permanently removed, so you will never receive notifications for it again. If you decide you want to be reminded again, you will need to recreate the recurring reminder.
